A jewel city of Germany is Rottenburg. Although a large part of it was destroyed in the Second World War, it managed to be rebuilt and is a jewel of Europe nowadays.
At Christmas we visited the city and it has a special beauty these days because it is decorated with amazing Christmas decorations.
A visit to the famous katheWohlfahrt, this beautiful Christmas village will convince you. It contains countless and beautiful ornaments for every taste.

Here you will admire the city hall, which is a real work of art. It is a Gothic and Renaissance style building. It is worth going up to its roof and admiring the view from above.
You will see the church of St. James which started to be built in 1311 and you will be impressed by its interior.

Don't miss a walk up the city walls as you enter the city. Although there is no castle today you will see the gardens where the castle was in 1142. The castle was destroyed by an earthquake in 1356. From there you have an amazing view of the old town.
It is also worth visiting the museum with the paintings and sculptures, the furniture, the ceramics, the weapons covering nine decades.
Finally, try the famous German sausages as well as their beers, which are a must in German cuisine.
This city, although small, has a lot of beautiful and romantic spots to show for it and it is deservedly included in the romantic road of Germany
